Common questions

Everything you need to know

Straight answers on buckets, sizing, and fitment — no runaround.

How do I know which bucket suits my excavator?
Match the bucket to your machine's operating weight and hydraulic flow. As a rule: 1–3T machines suit mini buckets, 5–10T suits standard GP buckets, and 20T+ machines run heavy-duty rock or ripper attachments. Tell us your machine make, model, and the job at hand — we'll spec the right bucket for you.
What's the difference between a GP bucket and a rock bucket?
A General Purpose (GP) bucket is built for everyday digging in soil, clay, and light gravel. A rock bucket has reinforced side cutters, a heavier wear plate, and hardened teeth designed to handle abrasive material like granite, basalt, and hard compacted ground without wearing out fast.
Do you supply buckets for all excavator brands?
Yes. We supply buckets and attachments to suit all major brands — Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, Doosan, Hyundai, Kobelco, and more. Pins, bushes, and hitches are matched to your machine's exact specifications.
Can I use a tilt bucket for grading and levelling?
Absolutely — a tilt bucket is the go-to attachment for grading, batter cutting, and finishing work. It tilts up to 45° each way, letting you work on slopes and tight angles without repositioning the machine. It's a big productivity gain on drainage, road shoulders, and landscaping jobs.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes. We're based in Western Sydney but ship attachments to all states and territories. Lead times vary by product — contact us with your location and we'll confirm freight costs and delivery timeframes upfront.
What warranty do your attachments come with?
All Aussie Attachments products come with a structural warranty against manufacturing defects. Wear items like teeth and cutting edges are consumables and not covered, but the bucket body and hitch are built to last. Contact us for full warranty terms on specific products.
